day seized

yesterday is history.
tomorrow is a mystery.
but today is a gift,
and that is why it's called the present.
living for Jesus one day at a time.

Today, Matt and I got the chance to see Green Pastures group in San Francisco. It is an organization in Korea that takes in orphans and loves them, cares for them, tells them about the Gospel, and then teaches them how to play instruments. It was a beautiful sight. They played so well, there were about 29 children who actually came on tour to America — all these kids played multiple instruments, they danced Korean traditional dance (Mu-young) and you could just see the joy in their lives. It was on their faces, it was in the way they performed, it was in the way they spoke. It made me cry, because it was such a testament to the fact that even what man throws away, God can redeem beautifully. Day seized.
